As part of China's Consulate-General in Sydney, the Economic and Commercial Office is staffed with trade and investment specialists from China. Our mission is to facilitate and promote the flow of trade and investment between China and Australia.
While working hard to increase the two-way trade, we focus on helping Australian companies actively seeking Chinese suppliers. In close cooperation with the Sydney office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, we provide these companies with information on products , services and agency opportunities from China, and put them in contact with Chinese companies. We also organize trade missions to China, and recruit delegations to visit major trade shows in the republic.
We are dedicated to expanding Australian investment in China. We provide business briefings, including policy advice, for those considering establishing a business in China, help them identify investment opportunities, and assist them in finding local partners. The same service is provided to Chinese companies wishing to invest in Australia.
